JAFINDER

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service explain the basic terms for accessing and using JaFinder. By using JaFinder, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. About JaFinder

JaFinder is a platform intended to help users discover businesses, services and opportunities and to help businesses present their offerings.

2. Use of the platform

You agree to use JaFinder lawfully and responsibly. You must not submit misleading information, misuse another person's information, interfere with the platform, or use it for unlawful purposes.

3. Business listings and registration

Businesses are responsible for ensuring that the information they submit is accurate, current and lawful. Submitting a registration does not guarantee that a listing will be published or receive any particular status. JaFinder may review, update, restrict or remove listings that breach these terms or create a risk to users.

4. Registration fees and Premium status

Where a registration fee applies, the applicable amount and payment instructions will be shown before payment. JaFinder may also offer a free registration option. A business that pays a registration fee becomes Premium only after the payment has been successfully verified by JaFinder. Free registrations do not require payment verification. Submitting payment details alone does not guarantee Premium status.

5. Advertising and promotions

Advertising or promotional services may be offered subject to the prices, conditions and duration communicated when the service is requested. Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their promotional content.

6. Donations and fundraising

Information about donations and fundraising activities must be truthful and must not misrepresent the purpose, beneficiary or use of funds. Users should make their own checks before contributing. JaFinder does not guarantee the conduct or outcome of a third-party fundraising activity.

7. Third-party businesses and services

JaFinder may display information supplied by businesses or other third parties. JaFinder does not automatically endorse those parties and is not responsible for the quality, safety, availability or performance of third-party goods and services. Users should verify important details directly with the provider.

8. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account. Notify JaFinder if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

9. Suspension or termination

JaFinder may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with the law, investigate suspected misuse or enforce these terms.

10. Intellectual property

The JaFinder name, branding, design and platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy or use them without permission, except as allowed by law.

11. Privacy

JaFinder's handling of personal information should be read together with its applicable Privacy Policy. Publish and link a separate Privacy Policy before collecting personal information through this website.

12. Changes to these terms

JaFinder may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

13. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, JaFinder is not liable for indirect loss arising from use of the platform or reliance on third-party listings. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Governing law

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Uganda, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply.

15. Contact

For questions about these terms, contact JaFinder using the official contact details published on the platform.

Before publishing: This is a starter draft, not legal advice. Confirm the official support email, add a Privacy Policy, and have the terms reviewed for your business and applicable Ugandan law.
